American Plumbing President Joe Clancy is a third generation plumber and piping contractor. He grew up in the business, and founded American Plumbing and Heating in 1985. In 1989 he was joined by Dan Bent, who now serves as Vice-President.
Over nearly two decades, American built a reputation for effective-ness and honesty.
Important new areas of the New England economy – such as biotechnology – began to grow, and they needed high-quaility plumbing and fire protection systems. At the same time, Boston’s traditional industries – such as medicine and education – continued to expand. American Plumbing became a partner in literally dozens of important building projects.
By 2007 American Plumbing and Heating completed its transition to one of the largest plumbing and mechanical firms in New England.
After years of steady growth, we moved into a major 43,000 square foot facility in Norwell, Massachusetts. From this new location American oversees the design and construction of piping projects for universities, medical institutions, sports venues, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and for other prominent New England businesses.
Over the years American has proudly established the sort of blue-chip client list that expects good pricing and top-quality workmanship. With annual revenues topping $50 million, we are ready to take on any job. And we’ll build it with efficiency and pride.
