Project Description
Pictured in this short video and photo gallery is the APH Team rigging two Hazardous Waste Storage Tanks of over 5000 gallons each into the basement mechanical space. These tanks are part of a sophisticated laboratory wastewater collection system for organic solvents. This is a small example of the ingenuity and groundbreaking engineering a facility like MIT.nano demands.
American Plumbing & Heating was brought onboard in 2014 as the Design Assist Plumbing Subcontractor to collaborate with the team and become active participants in the design phase of the project. This approach allowed the collective expertise of the team to add value to the plans by reducing costs and improving constructability.
